Prof. Gregor Leibundgut is Head of Interventional Cardiology and Director of the CHIP and CTO Program at University Hospital Basel, Switzerland. He specializes in complex coronary interventions, including chronic total occlusions (CTO) and high-risk PCI (CHIP), and is a highly experienced live-case operator at international meetings. Prof. Leibundgut is co-director of the Swiss CTO & CHIP Summit and Swiss CTO & CHIP Connect. He is the inventor and owner of cathlab.tv, an online platform for case-based learning in interventional cardiology, creator of the CHIPSTERS App, and co-author of Toolbox3. Deeply engaged in clinical practice, education, and innovation, he has developed multiple novel techniques in complex PCI and holds a patent for a steerable microcatheter. Prof. Leibundgut has authored more than 130 peer-reviewed publications and several book chapters in the field of interventional cardiology.
